The county’s $46 filing fee is paid by you to the county. It is not included in $199 and is not collected by TaxTooHigh.

What we collect for an order

When you check a property or buy a packet, we use the address or 10-digit AIN you enter, the 2026 assessed values returned from the Assessor (or pasted by you), your name as it appears on title, email, mailing address, optional phone, opinion of value, and optional condition photos. That information is used to fill the AAB-100, comps table, opinion of value, and file-it checklist that you download.

Payment, when Stripe keys are configured, is processed by Stripe. In TEST MODE with no Stripe keys, no card is charged.

What we do not do

We do not register as a tax agent, we do not use Tax Agent Login, and we do not appear at Los Angeles County Assessment Appeals Board. Signature lines on the AAB-100 stay blank so you sign. Official rules live with the county, not on this site.
